Complete Required Documentation
- Ensure that all required, applicable documentation has been completed before leaving your shift, including, but not limited to: T-Logs; ISP Plan form; GERs; MARs; Therap Consultation Forms; Vehicle Checklist, facility checklist, etc.
Complete Required Administrative Responsibilities
- Ensure that you have clocked in/out properly using the Electronic Time System and/or Alternative Documentation of Hours Worked forms as applicable
- Attend all mandatory meetings, agency and required trainings
- Maintain confidential information

Knowledge and skills:
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English
- Proficient in use of a personal computer and various software packages
- Must have working knowledge of Therap, Time IPS and other agency systems as applicable
- Knowledge of agency positions and responsibilities, and who to go to with specific questions and/or concerns
- Must be of good integrity and possess adequate physical, mental and emotional stability so as to meet job duties in a safe and responsible manner
- Must have good organizational and time management skills
- A general understanding of the DD and Mi Via Waivers, and a working knowledge of Standards for which you are directly responsible (e.g., Supported Living, Customized Community Supports)
- Able to communicate in a professional, knowledgeable and well-organized manner with co-workers, Individuals and Team members (e.g., Case Manager, Guardian, Family Member, BSC, SLP)
- Able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without hands-on supervision
- Able to handle and resolve recurring problems
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and some mechanical equipment. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of patient conditions and elements. The noise level is moderate to quiet.
Physical Demands
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move objects and patients weighing over 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
Travel
This position may require less than 25% travel, dependent on the Great Livin' location that you are assigned to.
Required Education and Experience
- Certified Medication Aid as required by New Mexico Board of Nursing
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years old
- At least one of health care industry experience
- CPR
- Agreeable to additional job-related training and keep CMA in good standing
