Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health/Substance Abuse Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals experiencing mental health and substance abuse challenges, utilizing a variety of treatment modalities to support their well-being.
Arukah Center is a privately-owned facility that was founded in 2022. We are a licensed Substance Abuse agency situated in Colorado Springs. Our mission is to provide compassionate, community-based counseling services that foster mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The position offered is on a contract basis, offering part-time work with flexible scheduling. Your role on the team involves providing high-quality care using evidence-based practices to support clients in their recovery and healing journey.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide mental health counseling and behavioral therapy to clients
- Offer crisis management interventions when necessary
- Implement case management strategies to coordinate care for clients
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and support group activities
- Collect and maintain accurate client data and progress notes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Deliver addiction counseling services as needed
- Provide mental health education and resources to clients, families, and the community
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- State licensure as an Addiction Counselor/Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent, LPCC or CAS).
- Experience in mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and addiction counseling
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate within a team environment
