```Job Overview```
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and lives of young children. Your primary responsibility will be to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop important skills. We are currently looking for someone to start part time afternoons (5 days per week 1-4:30) and move to full time (35 hours) in the Fall or as needed.

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum with assistance from our seasoned staff.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Conduct assessments to track each child's progress and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of child welfare and development principles
- Experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or early childhood setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and materials
- Creativity in designing hands-on activities that promote learning through play
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each child
You must be able to clear livescan/background check and have references.
Pay is reflective of experience/ education.
