DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
An HVAC Lead Installer is responsible for overseeing the installation of new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units and replacement parts. They ensure that work is completed according to company specifications and established safety guidelines. Here are some key responsibilities and requirements for the role:
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the operations, maintenance, and service repairs on HVAC systems.
- Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings as required.
- Provide guidance and knowledge to HVAC Installer Helpers on proper skills and training.
- Work under minimum supervision to install HVAC equipment in customers’ homes.
- Complete all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner.
- Participate in training to grow and develop professionally.
- Maintain communication with dispatch, managers, parts, and installation teams.
- Keep company truck clean and inventory up to date.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Requirements:
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- CFC Certification – Type I and II.
- Knowledge of N.C. Mechanical and Electrical Codes.
- Clean criminal background.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently.

The principle duties of this position are performed in a variety of environments, including customer homes and outdoors Required to work in outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods of time. Experiences frequent interruptions; required to meet inflexible deadlines; requires concentration and attention to detail; requires a high level of organizational and prioritization skills. Standing up to 8 hours per day; Walking up to 8 hours per day. Occasional heavy manual labor to include lifting and carrying up to 50-75 pounds. Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead. Frequently works in closed or cramped spaces.
GROOMING Once hired, all employees must maintain a well-groomed appearance (i.e. a business-like haircut, clean shaven)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,987.09 - $110,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
