The Associate Compliance Officer shall provide support to the Compliance Department (Chevy Chase Trust & ASB Capital Management) in the administration of compliance and legal functions for Chevy Chase Trust & ASB Capital Management. This position requires a high degree of self-initiative and ownership of the results. The Associate Compliance Officer should demonstrate an ability to develop competencies and knowledge regarding the compliance systems and associated legal requirement, specifically the Investment Advisers Act and fiduciary laws and regulations for trust companies. The Associate Compliance Officer will need to apply this knowledge to the operations and systems of Chevy Chase Trust and ASB Capital Management.
The Associate Compliance Officer’s primary responsibility will be to assist the Compliance Department in the oversight of each firm’s corporate compliance program, to ensure that each firm (and its respective employees) is in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, company policies and procedures and firm-wide standards of conduct.
