Role and Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for inspecting, unloading and receiving incoming shipments in accordance with procedures and work instructions.
- Locates material to the de-palletizing area in accordance with procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain appropriate customer service skills with delivery drivers dropping and picking up shipments.
- Maintains a timely flow of material to the de-palletizing area.
- Must deliver shipments to departments in a customer service friendly manner.
- Operates banding and stretch wrap equipment.
- Must report, in a timely manner, all safety hazards and con conformances to their direct supervisor, the supervisor on duty, or a manager on duty.
- Must be familiar with all CW Resources, Inc. Safety Rules and Procedures.
- Must know and follow all safety requirements related to any and all equipment, machines and tools required to perform stated duties.
- Pick up/ deliver material to and from local customers throughout the day using CW’s box truck.
- Must submit to a health screening and drug test to obtain a medical card for driving.
- Communicate effectively with the Assistant Supervisor to ensure accuracy of orders, delivery schedules, and general upkeep of the dock and staging area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of operating a box truck.

Physical and Environmental Demands
- Standing, walking and lifting heavy objects.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The Shipping and Receiving Handler may have to lift up to 50lbs and push and or pull up to 70 lbs.

- Exposed to the outdoors on a frequent basis, regardless of the weather.
