We specialize in custom software development, cloud computing, IT project support services, 508 compliance, artificial intelligence solutions, machine learning and systems integration. We are currently looking for IT Support Specialist (Hybrid Position) to support our Washington DC team and clients.
The IT Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's technology infrastructure. This position is vital for managing and maintaining our technological equipment, providing exceptional support to end-users, and assisting in the administration of key IT systems such as Active Directory and Office 365. The IT Support Specialist helps maintain our technology policies and procedures, supports audiovisual needs for meetings and conventions, and ensures timely resolution of technical issues. By contributing to the efficiency and security of our IT environment, the IT Support Specialist is essential to the company's success and operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage, research, and recommend technology equipment procurement.
- Handle onboarding/offboarding of technology equipment.
- Provide End User level 1 support.
- Maintain Active Directory and Microsoft InTune.
- Assist in managing Active Directory users and computers accounts.
- Assist in managing Office 365 licenses, users, groups, and shared mailboxes.
- Manage the Helpdesk system and ensure timely ticket resolution.
- Assist in executing the phishing program strategy and reporting.
- Ensure AV equipment in meeting spaces is operational.
- Support computer accessories (monitors, printers , laptops).
- Provide operational support for conventions and meetings.
- Maintain and monitor technology policies, checklists, and procedures.
- Participate in after-hours rotation for implementations, updates, and emergencies.
- Assist with technology application issues.
- Update and maintain the Staff Intranet and website.
- Assist with email communication issues.
- Explore and enhance new technologies.
- Maintain computer and mobile device inventories, track warranties, and update replacement schedules.
- Assist with department paperwork and data entry.
- Post audio/video media of meetings to the website when needed.
- Troubleshoot PCs, battery backups, and other computer-related equipment.
- Customize and configure internal applications.
- Perform related work as assigned.
Position, Responsibilities, and Activities:
· Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365.
· Knowledge of SharePoint and M365 applications.
· Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
· Attention to detail and timeliness.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education
A degree in Information Systems or a related field, or three years of equivalent working experience preferred.
