Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following
Managing and providing leadership for safety and environmental programs
Monitoring job costing, quality reporting, forecasting and productivity
Coordinating all manpower, materials and equipment
Completing field administration: time-sheets, quantity reports, purchases and the job diaries
Organizing and coordinating all subcontractor activities
Implementing and monitoring the construction plan; including scheduling and logistics
Supervising and mentoring field personnel (15+ electricians)
Requirements
Journeyman Trade Certification in a related Construction trade will be considered an asset
A proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to perform a variety of tasks under multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated leadership skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent knowledge of the Building Codes
Excellent knowledge of electrical safety standers
Essential Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities
Understanding complete electrical plans from, unit electrical, lighting control title 24, switch-gear, feeder runs, underground electrical, generators, landscape lighting etc.
Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff from plans and putting a complete bid together for the entire project.
Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate to determine change order specs
Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of change order scope of work and enter into spreadsheet
Request quotes from suppliers for equipment and materials
Identify qualified suppliers and subcontractors for quotes
Review quotes for completeness with plans and specifications of change order
Responsible for the timely completion of all takeoffs and costs analysis for project change order estimates
Draft complete change order proposal costs for distribution and review

Pay: $70,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
