*This position is located in Austin, TX.*
Position Objective:
The Senior Analyst - Accounting & Financial Reporting position is a comprehensive position that requires a solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting aspects. This position will be responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packages, consolidated schedules, and debt transactions. This position will assist in analyzing variances between budgeted/forecast and actual results, research and analysis, and other accounting functions.
Critical Duties:
- Prepare consolidated financial reports and supporting schedules including, but not limited to: debt, fixed assets, equity roll-forwards, statement of cash flows, etc.
- Responsible for the month-end close process for multiple corporate entities.
- Responsible for accounting and reporting of debt instruments including, but not limited to: recording journal entries, preparing reconciliations, variance analysis, etc.
- Record adjusting and eliminating journal entries.
- Prepare the consolidated monthly and quarterly reporting packages.
- Prepare and tie out annual financial statements and footnotes for various private entities under the Company structure.
- Assist in the preparation of accounting workbooks and other deliverables for various real estate transactions including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, recapitalizations, etc.
Essential Duties (Other Duties May Be Assigned):

Prepare accurate supporting documentation for internal and external audit as needed and/or requested.
- Work collaboratively within the department and with other departments to achieve goals, simplify processes, and to ensure that work is completed accurately and timely.
- Assists in the development of new spreadsheet server reports and support the maintenance of existing reports.
- Assist in special projects and/or periodic assignments as needed and/or requested.
- Understand and ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and departmental policies and procedures.

Education/Experience:
- 4+ years related professional experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
Certificates/Licenses:

CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred.

U.S GAAP and public company accounting and financial reporting processes and requirements preferred.
Skill in:
- Accounting software and/or systems preferred.
