Job Summary:
The store manager is responsible for successfully running all aspects of the Traffic LA – Dallas store including building sales, identifying opportunities, client development and service, coaching and counseling of staff, operational controls, etc.
Duties:
- Oversees the store team and ensures that they are informed, trained and aligned on store policies. This also includes leading or attending daily team meetings to communicate business trends and relevant updates.
-Maintains an active and participatory role on the selling floor, working with and developing the team to increase sales and ensure the highest level of service
-Analyzes store performance on a regular basis to provide timely and thoughtful analysis of business opportunities and potential strategies to develop sales – this includes analyzing sales, inventory levels, drop schedules, monitoring competitors and local trends, etc.
-Maintains notes on team performance and is responsible for performing regular check-ins and annual performance reviews
-Active participant in sourcing, recruiting and retaining staff
-Oversees and ensure bi-weekly payroll is accurately completed and submitted by the deadlines set by HR
-Oversees and created monthly schedules
-Promotes a polished, professional and positive workplace that inspires transparency and integrity
-Responsible for maintaining the showroom to the high standards consistent with the brand along with leading/supporting floor moves, merchandising, visual merchandising and housekeeping
-Maintains organized stock on the floor and in the heart of the house
-Develops and supports the sales team in client relationships through strong product knowledge, engagement and finding unique ways to continue to grow client database
-Problem solves in partnership with corporate team to ensure that any store issue is properly resolved to the benefit of the business in a timely and thoughtful manner
-Responsible for receiving product, preparing for display/sale and communicating any discrepancies in shipments to the buying and accounting teams
-Manage web sales which includes loading inventory, managing sales and ensuring product is sent out in a timely manner
-Works with corporate/marketing teams to launch and plan for photoshoots, social media marketing, promotional periods and events
-Responsible for P&L management, sales goals and inventory results
-Assists corporate team in annual buy budget creation, operational budget creation and quarterly forecasts
Requirements:
- Prior in-store retail experience is required, preferably in the luxury sector
- Minimum of 5 years of luxury sales experience
- Strong drive for business results with a passion for creativity, fashion and the brand
- Ability to develop strong and lasting client relationships through strong communication, organization and follow-through skills
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to strategies which address evolving business trends
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job, including phone systems, cash register, sensor-tag remover, computers, and all other office equipment.
- Can stand for extended periods, move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures, must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards
Hours of Operations:
- 10am – 6pm Tuesday–Thursday, 10am – 7pm Friday-Saturday
