Role: BD Analyst
Reports to: Director-BD
Work Hours: 40 hour week with core hours of 9-5pm

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Overall responsibilities include participating in all areas of Business Development, including development of technical, operational, management, teaming, and cost/price solution approaches, as well as reporting to executive management on current capture status. Working as an integral part of the Business Development Team, the BD Analyst helps implement the processes and plans necessary for pursuit and manages their execution.
Essential Functions
- Prepare and present opportunity briefing documentation and records consistent with approved processes and procedures utilizing a variety of industry research tools
- Write and research information for white papers, proposals, and sources sought requests in addition to blogs and infographics on various industry topics/events
- Engage industry partners and Government stakeholders in regard to opportunity data
- Support tactical and strategic planning for a wide variety of existing projects and new opportunities
- Develop, report on, and update all OnPoint opportunity records/documentation to manage opportunities through the Step Review process
- Develop and maintain opportunity pipeline(s)
- Attend events and industry days, and conduct strategic research and analysis to gather intel on opportunities in the pipeline
- Help to grow our Social Media presence
- Responsible for owning, presenting at, and leading meetings, as well as representing the Business Development team at other meetings.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
OnPoint offers a hybrid work environment, meaning that most work can be done remotely, while some work needs to be completed on-premise.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move physical IT equipment.

Occasional travel to a client site or event/conference will be required.
Desired Education and Experience
· Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience
· B.A./B.S.
· Research background
· Experience in the Government contracting industry
