We know that great service starts with great people! The Activities Assistant plays a key role as part of an award-winning team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities for residents in an assisted living and memory care community.
- Provide support and companionship to residents during activities and outings.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the care team to ensure the well-being of residents.
- Assist in creating a safe and stimulating environment for residents.
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate and execute activity programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and progress.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in senior care or assisted living and memory care.
- Knowledge of aging issues, memory care, and recreational therapy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with older adults.
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with others.
- Basic caregiving skills and understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
