Dr. Peter Vila (drpetervila.com) is a board-certified and fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon that is expanding the practice and looking to bring on a Aesthetic Nurse Injector to provide nonsurgical rejuvenation for the practice. As a specialist in facial aging and rhinoplasty, Dr. Vila has traveled around the country and the world to learn the newest techniques and is passionately dedicated to providing these to his patients to help them look the very best.

The Aesthetic Nurse Injector will provide nonsurgical treatment including injectables and laser treatments, assist with pre-operative and post-operative care, and help run an office-based surgery center in the Portland, OR metropolitan area dedicated solely to aesthetic plastic surgery, working closely with Dr. Vila.
Specific Duties
- Provide nonsurgical treatment for patients in the form of injectable treatments and laser resurfacing, along with other future devices the practice may purchase.
- Refer surgical patients to Dr. Vila when appropriate.
- Serve as a liaison between the patient and surgeon, ensuring a high level of communication.
- Assist with the sale of skincare products and help patients maximize their results with a skincare regimen.
- Manage expectations and answer questions regarding postoperative care and recovery.
- Ensure accurate capture and entry of patient data in electronic medical record.
- Communicate relevant patient information to surgeon.
- Discuss immediate postoperative care with patients prior to surgery.
- Communicate with patients via phone, email, text and in-person as needed.
Qualifications
- Licensed registered nurse (RN)
- Current licensure in good standing from the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preoperative and postoperative care
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Maintain a positive attitude and effective written and oral communication skills
- Provide excellent customer service-oriented patient care
- Have strong organizational skills to perform and prioritize multiple responsibilities seamlessly with exceptional attention to detail
- Must have high-level visual and auditory acuity for timely response to patient care assessment
- Ability to move quickly in response to physician and patient needs
- Ability to make decisions confidently in critical situations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
