Walnut Park Apartments are looking for a hands-on and proactive Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a well-versed team in Property Management. In this role, you would work with the Property Manager, responding to the needs of residents and fellow staff, being flexible and ready to jump into a variety of different tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete daily work-orders.
- Team player attitude a must.
- Changing lightbulbs, replace filters, and changing thermostats.
- Change faucets, sinks, and pipes in apartment.
- Help with make-ready units.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Hands on building/apartment maintenance experience is required
- Hands on construction or carpentry experience in a professional setting is a plus.
- Must have previous carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work experience
- Must have basic hand tools and proper clothing for inclement weather conditions
- Must be able to stand for long period of time and lift at least 50 pounds
- Must communicate, interact and perform duties in a professional manner
- Must be able to operate and maintain lawn equipment
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English is a plus.
