POSITION SUMMARY:
Works with and at the direction of the Operations Manager to assists in the servicing and support of requests made from the Direct Claims adjusters, managers and Operational staff
DUTIES:
- Coordinate and work collaboratively from a shared generic mailbox to ensure all requests are done timely
- Provide excellent customer service with consistent task handling, focusing on quality, timeliness, and data entry accuracy.
- Monitor all emails sent directly to a generic mailbox for accurate request handling and prompt attention to specialized requests.
- Prepare payment requests paying close attention to detail while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Effective mail processing to include, but not limited to, distributing incoming mail to the appropriate recipient.
- Retrieve and handle claim file requests.
- Search databases and/or files from storage facility as needed.
- Receive electronic delivery of documents in storage and deliver to appropriate internal recipient.
- Assist with print requests utilizing various data sources.
- Utilize time, resources, and tools effectively to produce large quantities of work error free in a timely manner.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting assigned deadlines.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
EDUCATION:
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Or Associate’s degree or equivalent college credits plus two years of relevant experience (preferred).
- Or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years office experience
- Solid understanding and application of Microsoft Office Products. Microsoft Excel knowledge is a plus
