Job Summary:
Responsible for inventory and cost accounting at all sites including counts, valuations, acquisition inventory, processes, and technology.
Duties/Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of inventory accounting, including receiving, recording, and reconciling additions and usage.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor trends and analyze variances to identify potential issues or opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports inventory levels, usage, and valuation for month-end reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and finance, to optimize inventory management processes and controls.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in industry specific inventory management and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations.
- Implements Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting.
- Manage external audit requests related to inventory
- Data analytics related to costing including job margins and other key metrics for the business
- Assist in strategic customer quotes related to data/margin performance as needed.
Required KSA :
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous inventory accounting experience
- Attention to detail
- Deadline-oriented
- Experience with Microsoft Office especially strong Excel skills
- Reporting skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with inventory software and implementations a plus
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with inventory/cost accounting
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College degree
- CPA license preferred
Physica l Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
