Contract Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule: Hybrid (Monday – Thursday in office, Friday remote)
Pay Rate: $28 to $30/hr on a W2
Position Overview:
The HR Generalist 2 will support HR Business Partner teams by managing various HR operational activities. This includes handling employee relations, performance management, staffing, and compensation in line with SEA policies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist HRBP with day-to-day HR tasks, people processes, and general inquiries.
- Support voluntary and involuntary separations, including drafting legal agreements, gathering employee information, conducting exit interviews, and backfilling positions.
- Maintain HRIS accuracy using Workday, managing job changes, supervisory orgs, and cost centers.
- Manage workforce plans, including headcount creation and management.
- Drive participation in the Samsung Culture Index.
- Oversee employee information in Workday, including performance evaluations, employee history, and organizational charts.
- Efficiently handle datasets of various sizes in Excel, utilizing v-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas.
- Collect and report data from multiple sources related to HR People Metrics.
- Undertake other projects as requested.

Summary:
The HR Generalist performs administrative functions such as managing employee benefits, recruiting, and interviewing. They also contribute to strategic planning and policy management, enhancing company productivity and performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing questions, administering contracts, and resolving work-related issues.
- Advise managers on organizational policies, including equal employment opportunities and sexual harassment.
- Conduct new hire orientations.
- Support HR managers with documentation for disputes and disciplinary procedures.
Top Skills:

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
- 2-4 years of customer service-related experience.
- Preferred education: BA/BS, MA/MS/MBA in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
