Overview:
Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Specialty Services (VPAS) to lead and enhance our internal organizational processes and infrastructure for our Specialty programs. The VPAS will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of our Specialty programs’ strategy and is accountable for their financial performance and overall operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a proven track record in managing diverse Specialty service lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Develop the Specialty Services Operations Team: Oversee the operations team to achieve and exceed annual quality, operations, and financial metrics with full P&L accountability.
- Provide Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute immediate and long-term plans to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of Specialty service lines, assessing and proposing new service lines and strategic opportunities.
- Monitor and Optimize Performance: Analyze operational and financial performance, implement corrective actions, and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost containment.
- Ensure Compliance and Accreditation: Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure contracting and network activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, and assist with obtaining necessary accreditations.
- Oversee Clinical and Administrative Functions: Manage the clinical and administrative functions within Specialty programs to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and seamless integration of newly acquired practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field (preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare management, operations, Nursing, Medicine, or Pharmacy, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of Urology and GI service lines (preferred).
- Proven success in managing P&Ls and leading in a changing environment, with strong collaboration in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilities, with proficiency in analyzing complex reports.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance, with strong Microsoft Office skills.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
