Simem America, with offices in Texas and New Hampshire, specializes in the supply of concrete mixing and batching solutions for the Precast, Roads, and Civil construction markets within the United States and Canada.
Simem Underground Solutions, with global responsibilities and based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, specializes in the design and supply of cemented aggregate backfill (CRF), Paste Fill, Shotcrete Plants, Slurry and Bi-Component Grout Plants, Pumping Systems, and fully automated material handling solutions for underground construction activities withing the tunneling and mining industries.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The project manager oversees designated projects for the company. The position requires planning and developing strategy, this includes defining goals and timeline for the project(s) they supervise. The project manager coordinates resources, manages equipment supply documentation, assigns tasks to the project team, and provides the team with direction and support to ensure deliverables are met on schedule. The project manager monitors project schedules to mitigate problems and leads in providing solutions for items in jeopardy to preserve the timeline. The project manager reports on project(s) progress, keeps management current on project(s) timelines, and ensures alignment with client and project team members.
This position works closely with engineers, business development, and on-site installation technicians. The position facilitates communication within the project team, cross-functionally with required departments (engineering, business development, procurement, fabrication, shipping, and technical service). General responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to, utilizing software and collaboration tools for project execution, managing, and updating project item timelines, resource identification and scheduling, project reporting, change orders, milestone tracking, and identifying budgetary impacts.

- Coordinates technical documentation transfer and aids engineering/technical staff in the completion of transfer.
- Demonstrates urgency by acknowledging and setting response expectations for client inquiries/questions.
- Monitors budget and advise of changes.

- Consolidates, codes, and reviews invoice documents to confirm accuracy prior payables submittal.

- Supports shipping and freight with logistics and forwarding companies.

- Supports, coordinates, or provides RFP/RFQ response information for project(s) change requests.
- Manages vendor deliverables: on-time delivery, invoice accuracy, and value-based attributes.
- Develops, processes, and maintains project records to regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates approval process, ensures on-time response and submittal of documents per project requirement.
- Creates, develops, standardizes, and adjust SOPs to drive improvement and organization success.
- Ensures submittal of documents for project closing.

Requirements:

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
