As an Account Executive for vCom, you will drive the expansion and innovation of our SaaS and IT lifecycle management solutions, engaging both prospective and existing customers. In your first month, you’ll:
- Begin prospecting for new logos and engage with existing customers
- Start to familiarize yourself with vCom’s products and market strategies
- Establish initial connections and lay the groundwork for potential deals
In your first 3 months, you’ll:
- Develop a solid pipeline of prospects and opportunities
- Start closing deals and contributing to the team's targets
- Receive feedback and begin to refine your sales strategies
In your first 6 months, you’ll:
- Achieve and exceed your initial sales targets
- Become a key player in strategic discussions about market penetration
- Solidify relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and continued engagement
What you’ll do:
- Prospect for, drive, and close new logo acquisitions, focusing primarily on new business
- Achieve personal income targets by meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
- Generate business with influential contacts within businesses of any size
- Develop expertise within key verticals to target new opportunities strategically
- Create and execute your business plan, updating leadership on forecasting and results
- Partner with an extended team of experts to advance the sales cycle such as Technology Solutions Executives, Software Specialists, and more
- Travel frequently for training, meetings, and customer engagement, enhancing relationship building – averaging 25% per month
What you'll bring:
- Proven track record in selling Spend Management Software, Managed Services, or Technology Expense Management
- Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience engaging with C-Level, Senior IT, or Finance leaders
- Ability to close deals ranging from $100k to $300k
- Strong communication skills
- A substantial LinkedIn network with relevant decision-makers
It’s also helpful if you’ve got:
- Experience with HubSpot CRM, Zoom Info, and LinkedIn Navigator
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual salary range: $70,000-$120,000
- Annual commission potential: $70,000-$120,000
- Commission earning is uncapped
- Comprehensive benefits package offered to full-time employees.
The Selection Process:
- As part of our application, you will create a 2-minute video telling us about something you are passionate about and can evangelize
- Your resume/application will be reviewed by a human
- Qualified candidates will be invited to complete two separate assessments
- Once the assessments are completed, candidates will participate in a pre-screening phone screen with Human Resources
- A select group of candidates will be interviewed, potentially including rounds with vCom’s sales leaders and CSO
- Finalists will present a sales pitch demo and 30-60-90 day plan
