Smyth Summer Student Ambassador
Smyth’s Camp Passport will engage students in grades K - 8. Students will receive academic enrichment as well as social/emotional skill development and daily fitness activities.

Job Summary:
Students will assist camp pod leaders with day to day activities.
This student employee position will be compensated for time worked on an hourly basis. The work schedule for this role will consist of an estimated [16 hours per week - 4 hrs/day for 4 days per week -] for an anticipated period of [5 weeks] beginning [6/26/2023] and ending [7/28/2023].
The Student Ambassador will complete duties such as the following:

Regularly submit attendance for camp participants

Assist in preparing materials for enrichment activities

Conduct instructional small groups for tier 1 & 2 supports
The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are preferred:
Must enjoy working with children, be a positive role model, and enjoy spending time outdoors
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate with school staff and peer students as an active member of a team
Proficient in the use of digital technology (ex: basic computers skills)
Capable of maintaining professionalism in various situations
Strong work ethic and drive to successfully complete assigned tasks
In order to qualify for this student worker position, candidates must be actively enrolled as a CPS student . A valid work permit will be required for students under the age of 16.
