POSITION OVERVIEW
Manager of Retail, will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. You will lead a team of retail associates, manage inventory, drive sales, and uphold our company's standards for excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, a passion for customer satisfaction, and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruit, train, and develop retail associates

Provide coaching and guidance to team members

Set performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations

Ensure a consistently high level of customer service

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints

Implement strategies to enhance the customer shopping experience

Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock assessments

Coordinate inventory replenishment and ordering
-
Monitor product merchandising and presentation
-
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets

Analyze sales data and implement actions to optimize sales performance

Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create attractive displays
-
Ensure that the store layout promotes sales and reflects the brand image
-
Monitor and manage store budgets, expenses, and profitability
-
Prepare and analyze financial reports
-
Implement loss prevention measures and security protocols
-
Investigate and report any incidents of theft or fraud

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)

Proven experience in retail management, with a minimum of [X] years in a leadership role

Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team

Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail software

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of industry trends and best practices

Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends

Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment with high call volume
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will supervise the hourly supervisors within the retail store.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
