The Center Director provides day-to-day leadership and support to assure a smooth, consistent and quality school operations. This role also supports the Executive Director and CFO to assure that all of the business systems operate according to the school's Vision, Mission and Goal Areas.
The ideal candidate has a Level III Administrative Credential, sound knowledge of DCDEE Licensing (95% compliance), Environmental Health and Safety (Superior), Environmental Rating Scale standards (5.5-6.5), Curriculum implementation, as well as financial and business acumen.
The candidate must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, concise and effective verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, decision-making, problem-solving, and technology skills, including experience with Child Care Apps and the Microsoft product suite. The successful candidate must also be dependable, flexible, and able to meet or exceed school goals. Working cooperatively and positively with children, staff, families, and community resources is a must.
