BFC Solutions (the nation's largest HVAC preventative maintenance company) is seeking a dedicated Sr Logistics Manager to join our talented staff. The Sr Logistics Manager’s will manage the team of Logistics Coordinators, be the liaison between Logistics teams and the company, continuous improvement of Route Planner, monitoring operational efficiency, and aligning operations execution with business objectives.

- Office hours for this role are onsite, Monday through Friday.
Job Duties:
Experience in logistics management with a focus on route planning and dispatch.

Develop strategies for balancing customer service, technician scheduling using forecasting and historical data, routing efficiency and mileage reduction.

Lead the logistics planning and dispatch team, managing their performance and monitoring of daily procedures.

Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders, collaborate on projects, and gather feedback to make improvements.

Identify bottlenecks, utilize data analysis for problem-solving, and drive automation and standardization across logistics applications.

Align demand planning with customer needs through working with customer service and sales teams to align operations with customer service objectives.

Proficiency in Descartes Route Planner or similar routing application.

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and data analysis.

Work closely with Regional Operations Managers to ensure all field needs are being met. This may include weekly meetings with the ROMs.

Work closely with Sales to ensure all customer requirements are being met.

Answer calls and emails, responding to queries and requests appropriately.

Collaborate with customer service to ensure customer work schedules meet contractual guidelines.

Follow key performance metrics for measuring route efficiency and fleet performance.

Participate in and drive continuous improvement opportunities targeting cost reduction, service enhancements and improved safety in collaboration with Field Management and Production.

Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
