The Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing, negotiating, signing, administering, and upholding contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of our contractual agreements and supporting our business operations.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, including but not limited to service agreements, procurement contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and request for proposals.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all contract-related documents and correspondence. Implement and manage a contract tracking system to ensure timely renewals and compliance.
- Ensure all contracts comply with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts. Provide recommendations to minimize exposure to legal and financial risks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and subcontractors regarding contractual matters. Facilitate effective communication and resolution of any issues.
- Generate regular reports on contract status, compliance, and performance. Present findings and insights to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation and facilitation of internal and external audits related to contract compliance and financial reporting.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance contract management processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Partner and follow up with internal departments and team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of assigned tasks or requests.
- Quickly address and resolve any conflicts, last-minute changes, or challenges.
- Additional duties and assigned special projects as delegated by manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in contract administration or a related field.
- Experience in contract management, compliance management, and vendor management.
- Microsoft Office proficiency: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Contract management software experience.
