Job Summary:
Responsible for operation/startup of filtration systems, providing parts and technical support to customers across the entire Paddock production line. This role requires a mix of office work and travel to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Startup: Commissioning of filtration systems including wiring, programming, and any other necessary tasks for operation
Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to address their needs and provide guidance on solutions
Sales: Providing timely estimates and accurate quotes to customers for parts, renovation equipment or direct replacement
Training: Provide training and support to customers on proper operation and maintenance of equipment across entire production line
Travel: Travel frequently to customer sites which will require overnight stays
Production: Assist in final assembly of filtration equipment to ensure it meets proper specifications
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of parts needed for certain filtration systems
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in the commercial pool industry, preferably dealing with filtration systems
Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, in-depth knowledge of commercial pool equipment and water chemistry, electrically inclined, and ability to troubleshoot
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks
Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
Travel: Must be able to travel by air and for days at a time to various locations
Working Conditions:
Work is split between in office and in field work, including mechanical rooms and outdoor settings
Travel to customer locations is required, which will involve occasional overnight stays
Evening and weekend work may be necessary
