Beacon is fast growing national company offering an array of advancement opportunities for our managers and clinicians. The responsibility of our Licensed Executive Director of Operation of Long-term Care is to provide support and guidance to the District Directors that are responsible for overseeing a group of 8-10 bed assisted living facilities.
This position also provides support for new program development including licensing, onboarding, and ongoing support to the programs.
- Serve as the point of contact for MDH, DHS, County, and Licensing communication for all new program development in their assigned region(s).
- Maintain a current understanding of applicable licensing requirements to ensure compliance throughout the organization.
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules and regulations governing services.
- Ensure that the duties of the Home Managers are fulfilled according to 144G
- Coordinate with District Directors for internal reviews related to Incident Reporting and EUMR’s and provide support to Home Managers to implement any corrective action identified, as necessary, during the review of incident and emergency reports, and ensure that internal reviews that have been completed for situations that required one.
- Complete initial VA investigations when applicable in conjunction with Quality Assurance.
- Support Home Manager in fulfilling their job requirements in 144G and other related licensing requirements.
- Work with the Home Managers to ensure that corrective action is taken when ordered by the Department of Human Services and/or the Department of Health, and that the terms and conditions of ensure licensing and variances are met.
- Serve as interim District Director for programs when there is a vacancy of that role.
- Assist in completion of necessary financial paperwork as applicable (i.e. 6790’s)
- Demonstrate responsiveness and effectiveness with the cultural, racial, and ethnic differences (i.e., attitudes and behaviors, knowledge and skills). This includes ensuring that staff supervised demonstrate the attitudes, behaviors, knowledge and skills to effectively address the uniqueness of individuals in culturally diverse work environments.
- Maintain effective communication (i.e. telephone calls, emails, written reports, meetings) to provide resources and supports to staff, persons served, and support teams to implement the service recipient plans and communicate changes and issues.
- Maintain the competencies needed to perform as a House Manager and as a Resident Assistant, as needed.
- Provide direction and support to House Manager in accordance with the professional standards and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in health services or business field (master's preferred)
- Valid LALD
- 5-7 years experience managing multiple healthcare facilities or residential homes
- Knowledgeable in 144G Licensing
- Valid Driver License
