What will you be doing?
We are seeking a versatile individual to join our team as a Houseperson and Shuttle Driver. In this dual role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities while also ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of guests and associates.
Shuttle Driver/Houseperson responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operating company-owned shuttle for guests and associates, including transporting team members between work locations.
- Assisting guests with their luggage.
- Providing excellent customer service to all guests and team members, including responding to inquiries and addressing concerns.
- Assisting team members with loading/unloading supplies.
- Adherence to strict arrival/departure schedule to ensure team members are at their assigned locations on time and picked up in a timely manner.
- Assisting the grounds department with the cleanliness of the property while walking the grounds at various locations during downtime.
- Support room attendants by delivering additional supplies, removing trash and linens, moving furniture, running calls, and assisting with heavy cleaning tasks as required.
- Clean and maintain all public areas of the establishment, including hallways, stairwells, windows, lobbies, elevators, and other communal spaces.
- Clean guest rooms as needed.
- Keep linen stocked and organized on carts and shelves & deliver per guest requests to proper rooms.
- Reports all lost and found items in compliance to company policy.
- Assist guests with questions or concerns.
- Greet guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
- A valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required
- Must be 21 or older
- Previous experience driving a shuttle, van, or bus preferred
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors
- Knowledge of the city, surrounding attractions and landmarks
- Enjoyment of providing exceptional service to guests and team members
- Strong attention and care to details
- Responsibility, reliability and honesty
- Teamwork and collaboration
