Our client, an established real estate law firm with offices across California, is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to join our fast-paced team in downtown Los Angeles, CA. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing overall administrative support directly to the Managing Partner of our Landlord Tenant practice group. Responsibilities:

Provide overall administrative support to the Attorneys and Paralegals of the Landlord Tenant practice group

Communicate with clients and process servers by phone and email
-
Check court website for case statuses
-
Perform data entry of information into legal forms and case management software
-
Communicate with the courts by phone to obtain case-related information
-
Assist with e-filing legal documents
-
Process discovery documents
-
Perform other administrative and clerical duties as needed by the department
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
-
1+ years of law firm experience
-
Previous administrative office experience
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
High attention to detail and accuracy
-
Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute
The following qualifications are preferred:

E-filing experience
-
Previous discovery experience
Schedule:

Position is full-time, temporary assignment at 40 hours/week. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday. Some flexibility in schedule if needed.
