Premier Home Health Care Services, Inc. is a leading established Home Health Care Agency. We currently have an opportunity for a UAS Training and Audit Supervisor RN to work with the UAS team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains updated certification for Uniform Assessment System (UAS) and all updates/ new module certification.
- Implements all clinical education programs – UAS.
- Provides new hire orientation as well as on-going educational training sessions. Ensures UAS RNs are compliant with NY DOH regulations, plan/client documentation standards and productivity standards as outlined by Premier.
- Completes audits and reviews of Contract Paperwork including UAS, ATSP and other plan forms.
- Follows MLTC and MAP contracts NY DOH standards. Ensure a safe service plan for member including UAS, ATSP and other related plan forms. Maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Manages all full time and per-diem UAS RNs. Responsible for assuring UAS RNs meet documentation standards via training, audits, or refresher training in alignment with Health Commerce System (HCS) – Uniform Assessment System (UAS) policies and protocols.
- Follows up on all audit findings and resolves open issues in order to complete UAS assessment process timely.
- Tracks staff performance in alignment with Contract Paperwork with a focus on Quality Assurance guidelines set forth by the plan/client.
- Provides remedial training and initiate disciplinary process as appropriate.
- Serves as a resource to field UAS RNs for clinical problem resolution.
- Reviews UAS assessments for assessor corrections and compliance with plan analyzer (Lenavi or QAS analyzer, other applications) as well as all Quality Measures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Educational: RN, BSN preferred. Must have a current, valid, and unencumbered RN license, certificate, or registration or credentialing as required.
- Travel: Limited.
- Work Experience: Care Management, UAS certified and in good standing with HCS. Minimum of 1 year of home care experience required. Prefer 1 year with Premier CM/UR Unit or other CM/UR programs.
- Skills: MS Office proficiency, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to work well under pressure required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
