Job Summary
The Sr. Systems/Data Analyst is a key role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization's HRIS, managing HR systems, reporting, analytics, compliance, performance management and compensation programs. This position involves developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and alignment with HR strategies and business objectives.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee the administration and optimization of HR systems and reporting (Paycom, iCIMS, PowerBI, Laserfiche, Orange App..etc.)
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Partner with payroll and regularly update union rates for multiple union locals across the US, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and local laws.
- Implement new HRIS features and functionalities as needed.
- Develop and manage comprehensive HR reporting systems.
- Generate and analyze HR data to identify trends and insights that inform decision-making.
- Provide reports, data, or any analytical needs for leadership and business partners on key HR metrics.
- Manage the internal compensation structure and programs. Conduct regular market analysis to ensure compensation remain aligned with industry standards and provide comp data to management for hiring and promotions.
- Manage annual compensation review processes.
- Develop and update HR policies in line with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Ensure effective communication and implementation of HR policies across the organization.
- Conduct and manage the annual performance reviews and cooperate with Finance team on the WF Budget distribution.
- Lead HR-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. Evaluate project outcomes and implement improvements for future initiatives.
- Ensure all HR practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements, i.e. minimum wage, new labor laws, etc. Conduct regular audits of HR processes and documentation.
- Perform administrative duties including responding to questions related to policies, procedures, compensation, performance management, compliance, systems and other HR related inquiries.
- Maintains employee records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
- Responsible for retention and archiving of all personnel records.
- Responsible for all compliance reporting including the annual EEO-1 filing, monthly BLS reporting and annual CA DEFH filing.
- Responsible for systems monthly, quarterly and yearly audits.

Basic Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on HRIS, analytics, compliance and compensation.
- Experience in managing and leading a team within an HR function.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing HR programs and strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems, specifically Paycom.
- Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, PowerBI and Visio.
- Understanding of compensation structures for both union and non-union environments. Assist the field HR team and/or Payroll with data and reports for unions.
- General knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR functions with business objectives.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in managing HR projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
