The Whitestone Group Inc. is an industry leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government with an international presence. The company is currently seeking to hire a Security Captain of the Guards for a federal contract.

Position must meet the following:
- Secret Clearance
- Armed Washington DC SPO license
- Assoc degree and 3 years law enforcement exp OR
- 6 years security experience in a supervisory position
- Must have training/experience in law enforcement operations, payroll, and personnel administration
- Demonstrated experience to effectively manage a security force of 50+ officers
- Proficient in the use and safe handling of 9mm weapon
- Armed Washington DC SPO license
- Ability to obtain baton certification
Duties
- Manage and coordinate daily services under the terms of a federal government contract, as well as ensure contract compliance
- Provide oversight of the security force and alarm monitors
- Provide backup coverage to the Program Manager, and assume all responsibilities, when he/she is on leave or unavailable
- Serve as contractor’s representative at the work site and have the authority to act on behalf of the contractor
- Implement an ongoing, intensive training program that will ensure personnel are proficient in their assigned duties
- Handles daily security force operations, including scheduling, roll call, post inspections, recommending and administering disciplinary action when necessary, preparation and/or review of incident reports prior to submission to the government, preparing officer certifications, responding to emergencies, reviewing forms for accuracy, and directing and monitoring government special events
- Be available by company-provided cell phone on a continuous 24-hour basis
- Make and complete all legal requirements with the necessary officials at Washington DC SOMB to ensure proper certification and licensing of officers
