Job Title: Guest Service Agent
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Guest Service Agent to join our team. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure guest satisfaction by assisting with inquiries, check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Assist guests with check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy in reservations and payment processing
- Respond to guest inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email promptly and courteously
- Handle guest requests and concerns efficiently, escalating issues as needed to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, lobby, and common areas
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance guest satisfaction
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles preferred
- Proficiency in using phone systems and basic computer applications
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Knowledge of hotel management systems is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
