Position: Sales Administrator Assistant
Pay: $21.00-$22.00 p/h
Location: La Porte, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5.
Responsibilities:
- 15+ Office Administration Experience in the Refinery/Chemical/Energy Sectors
- This position is a pivotal position requiring dependable attendance, M-F, 8 hrs/day.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook.
- Must work well in a team environment with diverse personalities and assist the Sales Team in their efforts to succeed.
- Oral Communication – Possesses the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of Management both in-house and customer base.
- Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Listens attentively and responds well to questions.
- Flexible. Positive attitude. Dedicated and able to work Independently.
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Multi-tasker with the ability of planning/organizing/prioritizing work activities to utilize time efficiently and balance competing priorities.
- Responsible for Sales Department day-to-day duties Including maintenance of various Quote/Job Logs, typing of proposals, completion of prequalification and other questionnaires, meeting critical deadlines, handling all incoming sales calls from new and existing clients and house accounts, compiling, organizing, and submission of client proposals, organization and online submission of documentation for large bid packages, creations of Execution Plans, Safety Plans, Quality Plans, and Miscellaneous Documents. Maintain document retention process.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Product/Service Lines
- Will be trained in Contract Negotiations over an extended period of time. Successful candidate will need to develop skills in contract interpretation, redlining, and both written and verbal negotiations of client and procurement contracts, purchase orders, and agreements.
- Maintain Inventory of forms in stockroom and order accordingly.
- Responsible for incoming calls on Wednesday.
- Responsible for yearly activities including vendor donations for Employee Christmas Giveaways and set-up of Annual Corporate Meetings
- Responsible for yearly calendar orders and distribution of calendars to sales personnel
- Maintain weekly on-call lists and notifications
