Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of our clients through personalized nutrition plans and guidance. You will be working with a team of therapists and dietitians to help assist patients in the PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels of care.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans when appropriate
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal client outcomes
- Develop meal plans individualized to each clients needs
- Educate clients on proper nutrition and help answer questions they have
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans
- Lead supported meals for groups of up to 8 clients in the adult population
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate evidence-based practices into client care
- Document client interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
- State licensure as a Dietitian
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and its relationship to nutrition
- Excellent diagnostic evaluation skills to assess clients' nutritional status
- Proficiency in developing personalized meal plans based on individual needs and dietary restrictions
- Experience working with clients with disordered eating and eating disorders
- Comfortability working on a multidisciplinary team
