Job Responsibilities:
Measuring and grading logs, taking deductions for defects, recording scale data on a handheld computer and filing necessary paperwork.
Desired experience and qualifications:
Forestry or related background preferred. Desire to work outdoors and ability to work unsupervised is a must. We are looking for motivated individuals that want to start a challenging and rewarding career in the timber industry. Candidates must be punctual and professional with strong math and verbal skills.
Location:
This position will require working at various locations in Southwest Washington and Northwest Oregon. Employees will be paid the federal mileage rate when working at a location other than their assigned location.
Training:
2-3 month paid on the job training program.
Wages:
$29.68/hr - 35.03/hr after certification

Pay: $61,750.00 - $80,000.00 per year
