S&H Express is seeking a Help Desk Analysist. The primary responsibilities will be to support both hardware and software as well as to analyze and troubleshoot issues within our environment. This includes PC’s, Servers, Phones (cellular and landlines), Networking and wireless devices, Electronic units in the trucks, Trailer tracking units, and the several interfaces associated with our TMW software. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Onboarding/Off boarding users and associated accounts
- Installing and configuring new and reallocated PC and phone resources
- Email and spam management
- Configuring and managing AD, TMW, TMT, Citrix, Peoplenet, Totalmail, and SkyBitz accounts
- Cell phone configuration and management
- Troubleshooting and support of our remote users
- Patching and managing OS, applications, and AV/security products
- Documenting helpdesk tickets
- Make recommendations for support improvements and automations to improve efficiency
- Assist with IT projects as time permits
The successful candidate will be well versed in all aspects of Windows workstation and server operating systems and be knowledgeable in surrounding technologies. The candidate must also have a strong background in Microsoft Excel. One to 2 years of experience is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with Microsoft SQL, TMW Suite, VB, Dotnet, Linux and/or prior experience in the trucking and brokerage industry will be considered a significant positive contributor in candidate evaluation. Certifications in any hardware/software or network technologies will also be considered a plus.
The successful candidate will be required to work on occasion during non-business hours and at several off-site locations that are located within a 60 mile radius. These occasions are infrequent but do require the candidate have adequate transportation. Off-site travel and work is fully compensated by the company.
