Southwest ToyotaLift: Field Service Technician
Summary:
Become a customer service champion while providing exceptional repairs and maintenance for forklifts! As a Field Service Technician, you'll travel to customer sites, representing Southwest ToyotaLift's values and ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Focus: Build strong relationships and communicate professionally with both internal and external customers.
- Technical Expertise: Diagnose mechanical problems, write clear repair recommendations, and determine when parts need replacing.
- Skilled Repair: Service gasoline, LPG, electric, and diesel-powered forklifts, handling tasks like replacing parts, adjusting brakes, and performing routine maintenance.
- Teamwork: Communicate effectively with supervisors and escalate issues when necessary.
- Organization: Complete paperwork accurately and on time for work orders and billing.
- Safety: Practice safe work habits and maintain a clean work van.
- Continuous Learning: Attend technical training opportunities provided by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 3-5 years of forklift/material handling technician experience
- Excellent driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service focus and positive attitude
- Professional appearance
- Physically capable of performing manual labor and operating equipment
