We are looking for qualified nurses who will care for residents in assigned long term care facilities.
Qualifications
- Actively license as an RN in the state of CA
- Skilled Nursing experience strongly recommended
- Have Basic knowledge of Long Term Care facilities/ Federal Regulations
- Associate's Degree from a credible school of nursing
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to assigned residents in accordance with the nursing process and facility’s policies
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and communicate efficiently with the interdisciplinary care team
- Perform patient assessments, patient care planning, patient teachings, medication administration and care documentation using the Electronic Health Record (Point Click Care, Matrix or other Systems as needed)
- Administer immunizations, plant and read PPD
- Appropriately manage/provide care to patient with tracheostomies, laryngectomies, tube feeding (bolus/continues), colostomies, catheters, PICC and peripheral lines
- Start and manage IVs, perform wound care and dressing changes, breathing (nebulizer, BiPAP, CPAP) treatments
- Consistently perform patient transfers, admissions and discharges
- Oversee Certified Nursing Assistants, assuring compliance with state and federal regulations, facility policies and processes
- Discontinue and remove PICC lines upon doctors’ orders
- Obtain specimens for lab tests, monitor results, records, and communicate data per facility’s policy and procedure
- Ensure that State and Federal Regulations as well as Facility Policy and Procedures are adhered to and the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
