**Administrative Assistant**
**Overview:**
Join our team as an Administrative Assistant where you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our Environmental Health Services Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, data entry, and office management tasks. **Responsibilities:**
- Utilize computerized systems for data entry and record keeping
-Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
- Assist with front desk receptionist duties as needed
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments efficiently
- Handle phone systems and direct calls appropriately
- Serves as part of public health emergency response efforts, as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy
- Experience in calendar management and scheduling
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office operations
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
