Summary:
Signature Adjustment Group (SAG) is seeking a talented Training Specialist to join our growing team. You'll maintain a comprehensive resource library and act as a subject matter expert, ensuring new adjusters have the knowledge and skills to excel. You will be instrumental in shaping the skills and knowledge of SAG adjusters, directly impacting their success and ultimately, SAG's growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee a comprehensive adjuster onboarding program: This program should introduce new adjusters to the company culture, claims adjusting procedures, and essential tools.
2. Maintain a comprehensive job aid and report library: This includes developing training materials like manuals, handouts, and videos, and keeping them updated with industry changes and carrier-specific requests.
3. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide ongoing support to claims adjusters in the field by promptly addressing their questions and inquiries related to claims handling procedures and best practices.
4. Promote a continuous learning environment by encouraging professional development opportunities and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
5. Partner with department leaders to identify knowledge and skill gaps within the claims adjusting team and develop and implement targeted training programs to address these gaps.
6. Gather feedback from adjusters on training programs to identify areas for improvement and ensure their needs are being met.
7. Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
2. Insurance Industry designations preferred (AIC, CPCU, AINS, CPAU, etc).
3. 5+ years of property field claims experience, with commercial experience preferred.
4. Strong understanding of claims adjusting processes and best practices.
5. Advanced operating knowledge of Xactimate.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Proficiency in adult learning principles and instructional design methods.
8. Previous experience training CAT or daily adjusters is preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
