Luogo & Pelato are two Italian restaurant by Anthony Scotto which have become Nashville’s newest hotspots. After three decades in New York City’s hospitality scene, Luogo marked Anthony’s first solo venture and his first restaurant in Music City. Located in The Gulch and named after the Italian word for “the place,” Luogo offers upscale, authentic Italian food featuring Anthony’s signature northern Mediterranean flair and five-star service. Pelato is Germantown's newest casual neighborhood destination, offering Brooklyn Italian reimagined in a small plate, shareable setting.
Position Summary
Hosts / Hostesses are responsible for positive, memorable, and hospitable interactions with all Luogo guests! Our front door team will represented our world-class service culture in a friendly and efficient manner and play an integral role in ensuring our guests have exceptional dining experiences. At all times, Hosts / Hostesses are expected to be attentive to our guests' needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, valued and relaxed.
Ideal team members are passionate about sincere hospitality and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a Host / Hostess in a bustling, fast-paced, upscale restaurant setting. Luogo service staff will work with a tight-knit team in a family-owned & fast paced environment, where input and ideas are appreciated and celebrated!
Responsibilities:
Prepare daily reservation & seating notes for the management & service team
Answering phones and replying to guest emails for all general inquiries, reservations, & events sales requests
Warmly welcome all guests at the door or via phone, and offer sincere and hospitable interactions at every step of the way
Promptly address guest service issues and refer guests to management as necessary
Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu adjustments
Coordinating any takeout or delivery pickups
Communicate VIP notes, special dining requests, and all other guest needs to the service & management team
Guiding guests throughout the dining room, ensuring they are highly satisfied with their seating arrangement, pulling out tables for booth seating, and offering dark napkin options where necessary
Actively maintain a clean and neat host stand before, during, and after service
Regularly stocking and checking restrooms every 30-minutes for paper products, and communicating any cleaning needs to management
Cleaning all glass doors, windows, & counter surfaces around our main entrance
Discarding dirty menus and replacing them before, during, and after service as needed
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Perform additional basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by Management
Fill in for absent staff as needed
Assist with Private Events as needed
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
Qualifications:
Previous Hosting experience required
Excellent oral communication skills required
Positive interpersonal skills required
Experience with Resy preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
