What You Will Do:
Revv Aviation is currently seeking an experienced Senior Airframe and Powerplant Technician to join the team in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This will be a one man shop and this person will be responsible for maintaining an adequate tool kit, assisting outside vendors utilized for specialized services, and nurturing internal and external relationships. This person will also serve as an ambassador of Revv Aviation by displaying professionalism, cleanliness and providing expert level customer service.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Initiate parts and material requests required to complete work assigned.
- Use current technical data to accomplish all work.
- Use calibrated tools when required.
- Maintain all hangar and shop equipment and tools in a serviceable working condition.
- Maintain compliance with Revv Aviation's processes and procedures.
- Maintain the preservation of all parts during the work process installation and storage.
- Participate in a culture that promotes safety through daily observations, shift briefings, routine audits, monthly safety meetings, training and documented safety procedures. Be well versed in procedures for use in the event of aircraft accidents, fires, or other emergencies.
- Use customer feedback to constantly develop and improve capabilities and processes.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of General Aviation experience
- Valid A&P License
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of FAA Regulations
- King Air or C-130 experience with knowledge of the Pratt & Whitney MORE Program required
- A&P Technician Inspection Authorization (or the ability and willingness to attain) is preferred
- Ability to perform job related tasks with a safety first approach
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks experience
- FCC Radio Telephone Operator (RTO)
- Independently badged and able to work at the airport (SIDA and TSA access)
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
