Job Title: Posting Manager
Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated, self-motivated, and experienced Posting and Patient Services Manager to join the team. The Posting and Patient Services Manager will report to the Sr. Director of RCM and is responsible for ensuring successful management of multiple client accounts. This role oversees remote teams and has strong analytical data skills. The opportunity to grow and take on additional responsibilities over time are abundant.
Responsibilities:
- Support clients with payment posting related items.
- Participate in client calls and meetings, provide feedback and recommendations and consulting related to payment posting and reconciliation to clients.
- Lead client and internal calls.
- Support the company’s offshore payment posting team with their inquiries and lead and implement related projects as assigned by management.
- Lead and assist with training the payment posting team.
- Retrieve, post, balance, and reconcile all internal and external payments accurately and in a timely manner to patient accounts.
- Analyze payments and adjustments to find missing items or discrepancies; by payer, by payments, by adjustments, etc.
- Balance cash payment batches to bank credits/deposits received at designated bank accounts.
- Provide structured and timely recommendations; verbal and/or written feedback to agents as well as their supervisor on areas of opportunity.
- Initiate and assist with process and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support and seek resolutions related to the posting items for Patient Financial Services team.
- Address and resolve customer service escalations.
- Assist with the training of new hires and re-training of the existing team.
- Assist with new client implementations.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of revenue cycle experience, including management, preferably in BPO settings
- Knowledge of professional and facility payment posting and reconciliation
- Familiarity with various patient accounting and practice management applications
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, and advanced Excel skills required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
