Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Operations Associate with proficiency in Shopify to join our team. The Operations Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our store, particularly focusing on Shopify management. From inventory management to customer service support, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the success of our luxury brand. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Shopify platform including product listings, inventory updates, and order processing.
- Coordinate receiving and shipping of merchandise, including processing shipments and returns/exchanges.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the store's back-of-house areas and storage areas.
- Assist in preparing merchandise for display on the sales floor, ensuring visual merchandising standards are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting customers with inquiries, purchases, and returns.
- Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill customer orders and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail operations, preferably within the fashion or luxury goods industry.
- Proficiency in Shopify platform, including product management, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory management systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
