Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in outpatient and hospital medicine settings, delivering high-quality patient care and medical administrative assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications
- Handle patient service duties including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and coordinating referrals
- Provide support in various medical specialties including emergency medicine
- Utilize anatomy knowledge to assist with patient education and treatment plans
Experience:
- Previous experience in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and medical administrative support
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of inhale techniques for patient care procedures

Pay: $16.00 - $22.90 per hour
