DC Engineering is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team! The ideal candidate should have 7 + years of industrial electrical engineering experience. This is a full-time role at DC Engineering and the person in this role would preferably work from our Meridian, Idaho office, however we will also consider candidates who prefer to work remotely from their home office or from one of the other DC Engineering offices (Twin Falls, Idaho;Missoula, Montana; Dallas, Texas; Madison, Wisconsin; Bentonville, Arkansas).
As a leader within the Electrical Engineering team, the candidate will be responsible for electrical design, power distribution, power systems, and other electrical engineering tasks. The day-to-day responsibilities will include designing electrical systems, collaborating with project teams, conducting calculations and analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Candidates must have strong communication and critical thinking skills, a continuous learning mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Prior experience in power engineering and industrial design is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Electrical Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited University
- EIT required; PE license preferred
- 7+ years of experience
- Electrical Design, Power Distribution, and Power Systems skills
- Solid understanding of electricity and electrical engineering principles
- Demonstrated experience in designing electrical systems
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in the construction industry or consulting engineering is beneficial
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
- Ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical staff members
- Ability to adapt to new situations and changes with a positive, customer-focused attitude
