We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Behavioral Support Techs & Direct Support Professionals. In these roles, you will work directly with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disorders (IDD) and Autism, providing essential services to support their well-being and community integration.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify participant needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to support participants based on assessments.
- Provide interventions and training to participants, staff, parents, and caregivers.
- Offer In-Home and Community Support in a home and community setting.
- Assist participants in acquiring, maintaining, and improving skills for community living and independence.
- Provide physical assistance, instruction, prompting, modeling, and reinforcement in various areas of daily living.
- Support participants in self-care, health maintenance, decision-making, home management, communication, and more.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the current needs of participants are met.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in psychology, education, special education, counseling, social work, gerontology, or related fields.
- NADD Competency-Based Clinical Certification.
- NADD Competency-Based Dual Diagnosis Certification.
- NADD Competency-Based Direct-Support Professional Certification.
- Registered Behavior Technician.
- Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst.
Training Opportunities:
- PAID Training to become Certified in Functional Behavior Assessments (for Bachelor of Psychology Degree holders, with an increased hourly rate for certified employees).
- PAID Training to become Certified in Supported Employment for the IDD population (available to bachelor's degree holders of any field, with an increased hourly rate for certified employees).
- PAID Professional Development Training for Direct Support Professionals resulting in increased hourly rates.
