What you will be doing
The Warehouse Vendor Relations team assists with resolving a variety of inquiries and disputes from Albertsons’ warehouse vendors. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with many opportunities for career growth and advancement. The Accounting Clerk III’s primary job functions include but are not limited to: Respond to vendor inquiries via the Albertsons Vendor Inquiry Submission System (AVISS). Perform in-depth, multi-system research to resolve disputes. Effectively communicate with internal and external customers related to pricing and receiving discrepancies. Maintain accurate records and approvals for audit purposes.
The position will be based in Phoenix, AZ.
Main responsibilities
· Perform research in multiple systems to resolve warehouse vendor inquiries and disputes
· Correspond with DC accounting and receiving teams to resolve receiving or pricing discrepancies
· Enter manual payments in Oracle

What we are searching for
· Working knowledge of accounting principles.
· Two or more years accounting experience in a larger organization with mainframe-based accounting systems
· Experience with three-way matching in Accounts Payable
· Intermediate level PC skills with knowledge of databases, Windows and Microsoft Office products.
· Oracle experience, a plus
· Highly effective customer service and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent Verbal and written communication
· Good organizational and analytical skills with ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
· Self-motivated with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision
· Honest and trustworthy, exhibiting the strongest business ethics
· Highly effective customer service and interpersonal skills

· Two or more years accounting experience in a large organization with mainframe-based accounting.
· Good understanding of accounting principles
