Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in marble, granite, and quartz. The ideal candidate will be responsible for visiting fabricators, kitchen & bath showrooms, and other potential clients to promote our products and generate sales. This position offers the opportunity to cultivate relationships, drive revenue, and contribute to the growth of our company in the building and design industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the marble, granite, and quartz segments.
- Identify and prospect potential clients, including fabricators, kitchen & bath showrooms, contractors, architects, and designers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the quality, features, and benefits of our marble, granite, and quartz products.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials, presentations, and promotional campaigns tailored to target audiences.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to track performance and provide insights for decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including customer service, operations, and logistics, to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to enhance visibility, build professional connections, and generate leads.
- Continuously seek ways to improve sales processes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction through feedback, innovation, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
- Solid understanding of marble, granite, and quartz products, their applications, and installation requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license.
Education and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in outside sales, specifically in the marble, granite, or quartz industry preferred.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes, kitchen and bath design trends, and the broader construction supply chain is advantageous.

Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or sales roles
- Familiarity with Nutshell, Badger & Stone Profits software is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
